Day 7 - Disney then home

I am almost as sad to blog about the last day at Disney as I was for the trip to end.  We had such a good time and we finished strong with another trip to the Magic Kingdom and then breakfast at Crystal Palace with Tigger, Pigley, Eyore, and Winnie the Pooh (or Penney the Pooh as Corey calls him)

This was a fun (and really good) breakfast.   The characters were sweet and the atmosphere was very low key.  They had a fun Friendship parade that went around and it was smaller than some of the other venues which was nice.

After breakfast we said goodbye to the Cores and O'Rears.  They went to Hollywood Studios and we stayed at Magic Kingdom before our flight.   We rode a few of our favorite rides again like the carpets of Aladdin and Pirates of the Caribean.   We did some shopping and walking around then headed to Port Orleans for lunch.   We got our stuff, got on the Magical Express and headed to the airport.  If was a fun, but long flight.

This trip was a blast and here we are, almost 5 months later, and my kids still talk about it every day.   We can't wait to go back in a few years.

Disney World Day 6 - Magic Kingdom

After Chef Mickey we rode the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom.   We were ready for a day fun!  One of the first things we did was go to Pixie Hollow to see Tinkerbelle and her sister Periwinkle.  My kids love the movie "Secret of the Wings" and they were very excited to meet them!  The set was SO cool!   We loved it!  Carley whispered to Tinkerbelle that she loved her.

Then we rode some fun rides.  The kids rode the teacups.  I get sick just watching them!   They loved them!
I did love riding Dumbo the flying elephant with Cam.   We had  great time riding some of the sweet rides.  Carley was afraid of most of the rides today (for no reason) so we didn't ride as many as we wanted.  But it was still so fun to see it all!  I loved riding It's a Small World, Peter Pan, and the Winnie the Pooh ride.   It was a really fun day!  I also love this picture of Ariel's Grotto.  The details of Magic Kingdom are spectacular

After the afternoon of fun, we watched the Dreams Come True Parade which was one of my favorite parades.  We waited and waited for it to start and Corey fell asleep in my lap right before it started.  He was in a Toy Story shirt so Woody stopped and waved at him while he was asleep.  The kids were so cute in their sunglasses.  This parade was fun because it was FULL of characters from the movies.   The villains, heroes, princes, princess, and sidekicks were all there and it was FUN to watch!

After the parade we went to eat dinner at the new restaurant Be Our Guest in the Beast's Castle.  It was delicious and a really cool atmosphere.  It was a little dark in the room we were in (the West Tower) and the the fake storm scared Corey sometimes, but it was a great meal and we loved it!

It was such a fun night.   After dinner, we rode the ferry to Downtown Disney.   It was really fun to do some shopping, but my kids were EXHAUSTED!  Both had a meltdown in the store, but I still enjoyed going there and seeing it all.   What a cool way to end a day!
