Green Dragons Soccer

Corey played soccer this year on the 4U Green Dragons.  He was so cute out there!  He was really good and really funny.  His attention span was short, as were more of the other boys.  I loved watching him run and play!

When Nana Dresses you for school

love their Daddy so much!  They enjoy him.  They laugh at him.  They talk to him.   They hug and kiss him.  

Mother's day 2014

These kids spoil me rotten everyday, along with their daddy.  They are my sun and moon and my light on dark days.  They are exhausting and inspiring, challenging and encouraging.   I love being their mom and I am so thankful to have this day with them!

Corey Wayne

Loves firetrucks and organizing fire trucks.  Loves working on his station!  Loves showing off his cute clothes and hair.  Loves his sister.  Loves fighting crime and being a hero.   Loves his Mommy.  Loves being big.

me:  Corey, finish your milk
Corey:  (Accusingly) Are you trying to make me grown big and strong?
me:  Yes.  I want you healthy.
Corey:  If I grown up big and strong, I will grow up, be big, get a belt and a wallet, get married, move away, become a daddy, and die.   Do you want me to die?

It is hard to argue with 4 year old logic before 9:00 am on a Saturday.

Easter 2014

We had a wonderful Easter.   Sweet, easy, and low key which are my favorite.   Carley left out carrots and water for the bunny.

The bunny brought Carley 2 Ever After High Dolls and Corey a Power Ranger outfit and sword.  The bunny even left a note of Thanks written in M & Ms.

We had a wonderful service at church then Papa and Nana came over for lunch.   It was a great day celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior!

Easter Cake Extraordinaire!

Carley and I always try to make fun desserts for Easter.   This layered cake was hilarious!   Tons of color and candy.  It was gross and awesome at the same time.  The kids were so proud of their work!  They make my heart happy!

Carley's 2nd grade Class

Carley has had a great year in 2nd grade.  She loves her sweet teacher, Mrs. Purdom, and loves school in general.  Here is her little class

Date with Papa

Carley and Papa got to go on a date.   Dinner at Furrs then the musical Hello Dolly.  She LOVED IT!   Carley felt so special and I think Papa did too.   Carley wanted to wear a dress with a wrap and her hair curled.   She looked beautiful.   I am so thankful for these times she has with him.  

Sleeping Bags

Carley and Corey have started loving to sleep in their sleeping bags.   It is so sweet to me.   They sleep together and sleep really well.   Sometimes in my floor, sometimes in the living, but always next to each other.   They are planning a camp out with Cody this Summer.  They are in such a sweet stage of life.
