Every year we say it, but how can she be another year older? 5! A whole hand! She is our little big girl and she is OH SO special.
The big things in Carley's 5th year were learning to read and becoming more independent. She loves to wear dresses and only dresses. She has opinions on her hair. (no bows at all and we cut her bangs). She still loves Princess and all things girly. She still sleeps with Elly every night. She loves being a big sister and her little brother, especially now that he can play with her some. She has started giving more grown up attitude. (slamming doors, telling us now, trying to bargain, etc.) She has a chore chart where she earns money for each check and is really interested in giving, saving, and spending. She likes to pray for people and really worries about people that are sick or hurting. She loves her individual time with Cody or me. She plays pretend alot with her dolls. Usually they are either having a baby, getting married, or shy and trying to meet new friends. Carley loves church, learning about Jesus, and getting to worship on Sunday mornings. She does not like picking out shoes, tangles, being rushed, being alone. She is turning into quite a little lady. It is hard to believe that 5 years can seem like a lifetime ago and yesterday all at the same time.
