Night at the Corn Maze

Our little family went to the Corn Maze for a fun night. It was great to be outside and together. The kids did some really cute activities. Their favorite was horseback riding.

Corey's Thanksgiving Lunch

We had so much fun celebrating Thanksgiving at the his school. Nana got to come this year too. It is so fun and precious to see him in his environment!

A Happy Thanksgiving

Since Cody was still on light duty, he got to be off for Thanksgiving.   We had a relaxing day with my parents.  We played, watched TV, ate, napped, wore pjs, and were Thankful!

Carley's Ears are Pierced!

 

What a fun surprise!  For months Carley has been asking that her ears be pierced for her birthday present when she turns 7.  We agreed and she has been anxiously awaiting for December 28th.  Cody and I know that she freaks out and panics over everything and I mean EVERYTHING so we knew when it was time, we would surprise her.   Today she thought she was showing the December birthstone earrings to Nana but instead we had arranged to get her ears done!   The hilarious part was all the way to the mall she was begging to get them pierced today, but I kept telling her it wasn't her birthday.   When we were in the store, Cody and I told her we were doing it today and she FREAKED!  She started crying and saying she wasn't 7 yet.   But As soon as Cody started talking to her and when we grabbed a Justin Bieber poster to hold she calmed down and was anxious but ready.   Cody held her hands and she hugged the Beebs pillow and her ears were done in a snap.  She didn't cry at all after and she loves them.   I am so glad we surprised her today.  Plus we leave for Disney in 6 weeks and 2 days so now we don't have to worry about solution or anything.   Also since there were so many tears beforehand we acutally had to buy the Justin Bieber pillow.  Carley is a stinker, but we love her to pieces and she comes by it honestly!

So now my Sparkle has Sparkles in her ears.  Happy EARLY Birthday, baby!

No Training Wheels

 Carley is working really hard on riding her bike without training wheels.   It is hard work, but she improves each and every time.  Sometimes she just forgets to be brave and fearless.   My favorite part of these pictures is my husband running next to her in a boot. Even an injured Daddy is more trust worthy than a mom.  :)  Notice her little brother is in the mix as well.  I have loved these warm fall days!

Pirate Day

Carley had a fun unit at school on water and on maps and her teacher set up an awesome treasure hunt.   All the kids were supposed to dress like pirates and I thought mine looked exceptionally cute!

Sweet Cousins

Several weeks ago Alyssa's family was here.   I had misplaced my camera so I am just now recovering the photos from this!!!  How sweet are these little faces?  I love them so much!   We have some fun times ahead for this Fab 5 and I just can't wait!
