Look at this guy! No Training Wheels and off to take on the world! He is so cute in his spikey helmet and green bike! One funny thing about Corey is he does not like to disappoint men. Corey was scared to take off and ride. Cody was letting him ride in the cul de sac street to give him lots of room and eliminate some of the obstacles like mail boxes. All of a sudden this random guy who none of us knew, rolled his truck window down and said, "Man, I sure would like to see you ride to the end of the cul-de-sac and back." Corey looked up at this stranger, gave him a thumbs up, and said, "No problem". Then he hopped on his bike and did it! Cody was stunned! That sums up our Corey in so many ways! Proud of you, buddy!

Nana's Hip Surgery
Our sweet Nana had hip surgery the Thursday of Spring Break. It was a painful surgery with a hard recovery. It was hard on my parents and hard on all of us. Instead of going home after the 3 days in the hospital, she went to a rehab center for 2 more weeks. It was hard to see our sweet Nana hurt. And it was hard to see my parents live apart for 2 weeks. They hated it. And it was hard for Nana not to drive for 2 months. But now she is feeling SO much better! We sure love Sandy Core and are so thankful she is ours!

Seeing Green
These cuties were dressed alike in their St. Patty's day green. I think they are both looking so grown up these days. I just love them to pieces. I also love that they get excited about holidays. I made green pancakes today and you would have thought it was gourmet!

Carley's Patriotic Assembly
Carley had an adorable patriotic assembly with the other 3rd graders. It was so cute. It is hard to beat 3rd graders, flags, and Lee Greenwood songs. Also my Carley-girl had a speaking line. She sure is a brave little girl and I am so proud of her!
