Rainy Day conversations

 These two have really funny conversations.  They love to talk to each other.  We had a day where it rained and they went outside and watched.   It is sweet to watch them love each other.

It is also a good reminder that for West Texas kids, there is nothing like a afternoon rain.   It calms the earth and the souls.  I love these precious times.

Easter 2015

As always the kids and I always have fun making an Easter cake.   I love this one because it was so simple and it was fun for the entire family.

We had a great Easter and enjoyed the time as a family.    I cooked Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Deviled Eggs, Spinach Souffle, rolls, and the cake.   We were so glad Nana got out of the hip rehab hospital in time to come for Easter.


I love how excited the kids were and how fun it was to share this day with our family.

Corey's class Field trip

Corey had his first field trip on Thursday.  HE WAS PUMPED!  He got to ride on a school bus to the park for an egg hunt, McDonalds, to see the Easter Bunny and to play at the park.   This guy is such a happy, happy guy.  I just love it. He has made some sweet, sweet  friends this year and I am so thankful they were in his life.
