Hoop 55 Thunder

Carley started basketball this year.  It has been such a fun introduction to the sport.   Carley has really worked hard.  She is good at guarding her girl and celebrating with her team.   Every game she gained more confidence and improved.  At the last game she stole the ball and dribbled about 1/4 of the court with a smile the size of Texas.   SO proud of this girl!

2nd Grade School Picture

This girl is my best girl!   Fearfully and Wonderfully made!  Daughter of the Most High King.   Teller of creative stories.   Writer of sweet songs.   Owner of the softest cheeks on the planet.   Eyes of the brightest blue.   Heart of Gold.   Mind of exceptional knowledge.   Gifted and Talented.  Bright and Beautiful.   Sassy and Spirited.  And all mine!   We love you!

Avenger's Assemble!

We had so much fun celebrating our Corey Wayne.   We had all of the Spanns over for a cookout on Sunday.  Grammy and PawPaw gave him a bike and he got several dress up costumes and art supplies.   Then we had his party at small group.  Mrs. Michelle went all out and made cupcakes and set the party up for Captain America.  It was so much fun to celebrate our man!

Corey is a fun, fun boy!

He is loving and sweet.  He is very affectionate and tender hearted.   He tells us he loves us every day.

Favorite Food - Corn Dogs, Fried Okra, Green beans, rolls, cheese
Favorite Books - Dora, firefighter, and super hero books.
Favorite Friends - Carley, Rendon, Danica, Wyatt
Favorite drink - Water

Corey loves to dress up (super hero, fireman, officer, construction worker).   Corey loves to play with his cars and his firestations. He is really coordinated and fit.  He does not eat much food.   He wakes up about 6:30 am, takes a 2 hour nap around 1:00 and goes to bed about 8:30.  He loves to watch cartoons and loves to play on the IPAD.   He is a super smart cookie and knows a lot.

Corey loves adults, other kids, and babies.  He is very social.   He would rather play in the room we are in than on his own,  He loves to make people laugh.  And every time before I leave he says "Hugs, Kiss, Boom, I love you, Bye Bye, Smile, Tickle, Thumb's Up".  And he still has everyone he meets wrapped around his little finger!

Every Monkey Needs a Swing

 One of the things we were most excited about in our new house was to give our wild man more places to burn energy!  So for his 4th birthday, we surprised him with a swing set!  He loves it and was so excited to get it!   Both kids play on it every day and really use their imaginations.  It warms this mommas heart!

First Day of 2nd Grade

How did our baby girl become old enough for 2nd grade!!!   She is so excited to be in Mrs. P's class and so excited to start this year!   She is excited to be with many old friends but also lots of new friends.  She is having a great year and just becomes more beautiful each day!

We Moved!

Part of the reason I am such a bad blogger these days is that we moved!  We put our house on the market in June and it sold 24 days later.   We moved into our new home on August 2nd.   We love it!  It is a beautiful home and it brings us much peace!   There is not one thing that I do not love about it!   I am so blessed and thankful!

Core Cousin Pictures 2013

Brindy took some sweet pictures of the Core Cousins.  Sweet and natural  I love them.   Corey's smile is cheesy and ridiculous.   Carley is sweet and soft.   Lauren looks so grown up.  Camryn is picture perfect.  Addison is joyful.   I love them.   Lauren is 9 (10 in Septmeber).  Carley and Camryn are 7.  Corey is 3 (4 in Sept) and Addison is 2 1/2.  I am thankful for these sweet lives.  

Music Camp

Carley went to Music Camp again at church this year and loved it.  Prodical Clown was so cute and so much fun!   When she pays attention, she is such a little expressive performer!  I just enjoy all the talents this little girl has SO much!
