Still

We sang this song at church this morning and the words really struck me today.

It seems everyone I talk to has a lot going on right now. Some are burdened with loss of a loved one, with big decisions in their families, with financial woes, with sick kids, with infertility, with indecision, with job changes, and just with busy lives.

Take the time to listen, read, and reflect on this beautiful Psalm that was made into a song and say a prayer for eachother and for friends who need it.

Still
Hide me now
Under your wings
Cover me
within your mighty hand

Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust

When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father you are king over the flood
I will be still and know you are God

Yes, what a peaceful read and much needed for me this morning. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Cody's co-worker.

Hope your week is starting out well.

Great reminders Ash. And I loved the last post. I am so sorry to hear about Cody's friend. How awful. I will make a conscious effort to smile too- even though nowadays people look at you like you're crazy.
