Jenn K and I know we were in Siggies with Amanda Delp of the Bachelor. Her sister Melissa was in club with us too. One was my age and one was two years younger. Do any of you have the scoop? I can't believe there is an ACU girl on the Bachelor.
If she wins, can we all go to the finale and "circle up"????

She made it! How much longer til the hometown dates? I bet her sister will be there. I am thinking she is the younger one b/c of the age; but she looks like the older one. But they looked so much alike, so what do I know! Where's a Siggie Composite when you need one?!
Yeah, I don't know who she is and don't recognize her, but I would agree that she is probably the younger of the two sisters as she is only 26. I wonder how long she will stick around? She didn't really get too much air time tonight, and all of the interview segments she was in seemed kind of like "say what they want to hear" kind of answers. Who knows? Weird things happen on the Bachelor. I thought she may be the one Christian of the group that they always seem to have, but that title appeared to go to Alexis, who already made her exit (big surprise, right?). I hope Amanda goes far because it should be fun to watch an ACU person on the show!
Really? That is so neat! If she's only 26 she's way younger than me (I'm almost 34-yikes!) I'll ask my sister-in-law (Erin Shanks) if she knows her-she's quite a bit younger. She wasn't a Siggie but she still might know her. Have you tried going to ACU's website and searching for alumni or something like that? How cool!
Oh. My. Gosh. i totally remember her. Her older sister was my big sister in club. She was a really bad big sister. That is crazy! I'm going to have to start watching now!
I am actually watching this one because my husband is gone on Monday nights! That makes it WAY more interesting! Not like I have any connection there being an old fogie myself and not in a club but will definately have to keep up. She is not the one that sang the National Anthem is she?
Chris and I totally recognized her and kept saying we thought she was a siggie because we both pictured her in a yellow skirt! In my job at ACU I'm over social clubs so I've gone through composites and haven't found her, but I'll follow up with the Siggie president and see if she has any old pictures or info for confirmation! Too funny! On a side note, Alexis went to law school with Chris, so he knew her too (that's why i was able to force him to watch)! It's a crazy bachelor year!
I totally remember Melissa. I think she was on the billboard, and didn't she run for office our freshman year or something? I don't know Amanda though.
Did she pledge? I do remember her older sister...but vaguely remember that maybe she didn't get a bid???
Anyhow...that is pretty interesting. Adam is going to hate me now...Bachelor here I come!

Ya know what, I remember her not getting a bid either, because I remember her older sister and was all "hmmmm, that stinks." that's hilarious. I had no idea!
Another former Siggie weighing in...how could she not have gotten a bid if her older sister was in club? I thought that would make her a legacy? Maybe I need to get out the old yellow notebook and brush up on my Siggie rules. Okay, I was not going to watch Bachelor this time but now I am going to have to:) Thanks for the scoop Ashley!

I knew of at least one other girl who didn't get a bid to Siggies and her older sister was an officer. It can happen........

Amanda is the younger sister. She actually went to my high school (Grandview) and then went to ACU a year ahead of me.
How funny is all of this! She definitely looks familiar to me and can agree with Tiffany that she didn't pledge in our class. I can also attest to a little sister not getting a bid. I was an officer and my little sister did not get her bid her sophomore year. I was so mad I wore a Kojie shirt to bid night that year. My sister pledged the next year and is now graduating next month.

I am an old siggie. Alyssa was chaplain when I pledged. I love watching the bachelor! This will make it that much more exciting!!! I totally remember Melissa Delp. Crazy! Thanks for filling us all in!
She looks very familiar to me. Of course I don't know her from club, but maybe she was in the dorm when I was the assistant in Sikes. Perhaps they were really wanting to cast Christians because according to Russell Heil's blog (http://russellheil.blogdrive.com/) his sister was a finalist. Thanks for the scoop Ashley! Now I'll have to add another show to my current lineup. Alex will be thrilled I am sure. Hope all is well with you!
