Our day at Animal Kingdom was absolutely beautiful! Perfect weather, low crowds...an awesome combination! My sweet parents stayed at the resort through the morning...so we joined the O'Rears for a super fun morning. We went through Dinoland, rode Everest! Why does my family hate roller coasters? It is one of my favorite roller coasters!! We took the rest of the kids to play in the Dinosaur bone yard.. and then we met them at the Finding Nemo show.
After the Nemo Show, my parents met up with us. We were so glad Nana was feeling better!! We had yummy Asian food at Yak & Yeti... then we headed to the Kilimanjaro Safaris, which was awesome! We loved riding on the bumpy bus and seeing all of the beautiful animals.
After the Safari, we took the big kids to meet some of the fun characters in Mickey and Minnie's Campground. My kids were so excited to meet these characters! Corey would run up to them and say, "You are in a movie at my house". It was really cute.
While we were waiting for Donald.... Corey fell asleep. So, Corey and Cody joined Clint and Addison under the tree :) My parents went to get us seats in Lion King....and I waited in line for Pocahontas. We were good at dividing and conquering! Corey slept about 10 minutes...and joined us again. :)
Addison slept until the Lion King Show...which was awesome! We loved it...and I was so glad that my parents were able to see it as well.
After Lion King, we all went to Bug's Life inside the Tree of Life. Everyone loved the show...and we had fun looking at all the amazing animals carved in the tree. After It's a Bug's Life was finished- we grabbed seats for the parade... which was super cute!
The girls decided to use one of their take home treats on these baby animals. Addison checked the map to see if there was anything else we needed to do before we headed to Ohana for dinner :)
I had always heard people rave about Ohana...but we had never eaten there. We really liked it! All the guys REALLY liked it...it is a family style Hawaiian Dinner at the Polynesian Resort. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the kids liked the entertainment. We also enjoyed walking around the resort before we headed home. I am always amazed at how different the resorts are...and all the amazing details that each one so special.
