Corey's PreK Program and Awards

Some times I think my heart will burst with emotions.   Corey's PreK program and awards day was one of those times.    This little boy turned into such a big guy this year.    I am so proud of him.   And I really cried so much during assembly.  One thing that got me was they showed a video of the year and in EVERY picture of Corey he was filled with joy.  He wasn't just smiling for a posed picture, he was grinning ear to ear or had his head tilted back and was laughing.   I just love that he was so happy this year.  Life has harder days ahead and Corey is currently oblivious to that.   It is such a sweet season.  Also he loved school every day.   EVERY DAY!   Plus, he does not have a concept that he cannot be friends with kids that are different from him, either by race, gender, or ability, I am so proud of this guy.

He got awards for Student of the Month, completion of the Pegasus program, Problem Solving Award, and also the Future Preacher award for always sharing his faith and always letting kids know what is right and wrong.  Lol.  I am so proud of our Corey Wayne!
