We gave in...

The Nelson's are now the proud owners of DVR. We can record, pause, and play back live television. So far....it is the greatest technology ever. We are addicted. I knew we would be if we ever got it, so we waited until the time was right. Now we have caught up with the rest of the world!

I would like to hear your thoughts on the best part of DVR/TEVO.

Back to the couch....

We love DVR and as you say are completely addicted to it. I don't ever worry about missing a show because I know it's recored at home. We do miss out on the once a year funny commerical, because we NEVER watch them anymore.

You are making me mad -- I now think I am the ONLY person on the planet that doesn't have this (we are still vcr at our house). I have asked for one for my birthday...actually I am begging.

Oh man! I fell in love all over again with our DVR tonight. Three hours of Survivor, two hours of West Wing, DH & GA--all boiled down to pure greatness with no commercials.

We have Tivo and love it! It has been especially great with Jackson. I feel like I miss so much when I try to watch a TV show and take care of him at the same time, so now I just record whatever I want to watch and am able to watch it distraction free later on. I also love it on Sundays when I seem to watch one cheesy Lifetime movie after another. When it is time to leave for church, I just record the rest of whatever stupid movie I am watching. What did we do before Tivo/DVR?

We did not get DVR till we moved to Abilene and I love it!! I like to tell myself that it saves me time because I can watch my shows in less time thanks to no commercials. Which gives me more time to get other things done. Welcome to the world of DVR enjoy:)

When Clint first wanted to get PVR, I thought it was such a silly thing to do- but now..... I cannot imagine my life without it. It allows people like me, you, and dad.. who draw comfort from watching the same movies and tv shows over and over again to love life. Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
