Online Shopping

I am a huge fan of online shopping and I have been for awhile now. It is just so easy, so fun, and so convenient. These are 3 of my online ebay purchases of the summer. They are Carley's back to school items. She needed a bigger lunch box and labels for her big girl sippy cups. The backpack was too cute, I just couldn't resist. It is her new diaper bag for church.

My online shopping horizons have been opened now because of amazon.com. I always buy books there (or half.com). The other day I decided to see if I could sell books online. I listed 9. There were all old books from either a psychology class, a former bible study, intro to marriage and family therapy, that Willard Tate class at ACU, or random books like that I never read. In 24 hours I sold 4! I could not believe it. I went back and listed about 10 more and in 12 hours, 3 more have sold! Can you believe it? Amazon gets part of the profit, but still, I make more than I would selling them in a garage sale and I am tired of them just sitting on my shelves not read.

I love our techno friendly world.

Do you do much online shopping or selling?

That stuff is so cute! The closest I've ever come to selling stuff online is to sell it on the school district swap n shop (kind of like Craig's List). I've sold a TV, microwave and the blue couch (sniff sniff) and I made good money on all of it!

I love on-line shopping! My watch list on Ebay is currently 2 pages long. Of course, I watch many, many more things than I actually buy. I mostly watch children's items, but I have also bought a TV, cell phone accessories, books, concert tickets, a stroller and our Red Sox tix. Just last week, I chose the exact same waterproof labels for Emma with the little butterfly on them. Didn't they turn out so cute?

I am an Ebay addict! I buy and sell, but I usually go in spurts. Carley's new monogrammed stuff is so cute! Our friend is giving Jackson the cutest Stephen Joseph dinosaur backpack with his name on it that she got on Ebay. Way to go with selling your books! I should list some of ours! I also frequently shop from Old Navy's website because our little boys' department at the closest Old Navy is pathetic. I am a HUGE fan of online shopping!

Cute stuff! I haven't sold anything on the internet, but I am VERY experienced at purchasing items on the internet. Maybe that is why my husband refers to the UPS man as my boyfriend. :)

I am a huge fan of online shopping. I am in the process of setting up an EBAY account so that I can sell some stuff. I should do Amazon too b/c I have tons of books that I would love to get rid of. But I already am a regular when it comes to buying on EBAY, Amazon or Overstock.com.

Carley's stuff is way too cute!

Cute stuff! I am currently avoiding ebay... I can get myself into trouble. But I wish I was more of an internet SELLER! You may have to give me some pointers...

Ashley, You probably have no idea who I am, but I also went to ACU. I came across your site from Jacquie Graves' site. I purchase all of my books from Amazon because I can get them used and it barely costs me anything.

The stuff you got for Carley is SO cute!

Unfortunately, I buy way more than I sell, but I've been wanting to sell books for a long time and just haven't bothered b/c I hate going to the post office. I may have some questions for you, but I don't have your email. I'll get it from Jodi, I guess. Cute stuff for Carley!

I am a huge fan of online shopping, specifically for kids' clothing. It is just so much easier than making the trek out to the mall, and much easier to find the sales too! I just sold some of those Willard Tate books at my garage sale. After reading your blog, I wish I'd tried Amazon, first!!

I love Carley's little backpack. So cute!

I am currently in a WAR with someone on EBAY for a dress that matches one of Lauren's old dresses that Camryn will wear this fall. Seriously.... I love ebay!
