The 17 month old that can read

Several of you Lubbockites saw this on our news. Here is a link to a story about a Lubbock baby who can read at 17 months. It is crazy.

Carley could read at 16 months. These parents are such slackers. (Just Kidding)

Also, note the shout out to Singing Time in the story. :)

I taught a kid who could read at one year....not always a great thing, but remarkable.

I'm pretty sure Charlie could read at 15 months but since he just started talking at 24 months I can't really be sure. :)

She is going to be on the TODAY show in the morning. So we can see her tricks all over again :)

Wowie, wow, wow. That is pretty amazing.

When people tell me my child is smart, I think "Yeah, maybe, but he still poops his pants. Let's keep some perspective here, folks."

Her apperance was bumped to Monday at 7:40. You know you want to watch it.

That is the absolute craziest thing ever. And Happy Late Birthday! I'm glad you had such a good one!

Craziness! I think I like the fact that Cassidee is still oblivious to some things! I'd hate it if I couldn't spell things in front of her. I love me some c-o-o-k-i-e-s right now! :)
