New Must Reads

Friends, If you get time over the break, try to read the Mark of the Lion trilogy by Francine Rivers. These books are unlike any I have read. I tried two different times to start these and both times I didn't get past the first chapter. This time is was different. I guess my frame of mind was a little calmer and I started reading and I was literally engrossed in these books for three day. I am on the third one now and they are truly incredible, inspirational, powerful, and thought provoking. They are a story of a young Christian girl about 30 years after Christ died and rose again. They are worth your time and your read. Have any of you read them? Did you agree?

I just started them yesterday! And I'm glad you told me that they are kind of slow to start... I'm not really "into" it yet, but I can tell it's going to be so good!

Have read them twice...absolutely LOVE them! (And anything else by Francine Rivers!!) It's probably good to warn people of the "slow start"...but you're right. Once you start, you can't put them down! Happy summer reading, Ashley!! :)

I have also started the first book a couple of times because I've heard they're so good and I LOVE Francine Rivers...but haven't gotten through the first few pages. Maybe I will try again now that I've read this.

Hey girl!! My sil was reading the second one this weekend in Ruidoso and was telling me that they were awesome. It's funny cause I had never heard of them, and then read that you love them too. She really loves them, so I will have to check them out. I just finished a great book and was needing a new one. Thanks for the recommendation

I really loved Redeeming Love. I'll have to try these next! I am currently reading a new Christian fiction book that I'll post about when I'm finished. So far, it's awesome!!
