Tis the Season? Already?

I just walked into Walmart and they have a HUGE Christmas tree up, lit, and decorated. All of a sudden I felt very behind on the holidays.

What a week!

- Halloween is over
- October is over and November is here
- Daylight Savings Time fell back
- The Presidential Election will be over tomorrow

Doesn't it just seem like things are going by so quickly these days?

Also, I was trying so hard to go see High School Musical 3 this weekend and I couldn't get anyone to go with me. PUNKS! All of you are Punks!

Trent's mom has ALL of her house decorated for Christmas BEFORE Halloween every year. Yes, its a little weird. Its her favorite thing though and her only weirdness so I don't give her "too much" smack about it! I went to do do my monthly Walmart run last night and noticed the same thing.. the tree from the parking lot!
Tina and Hampton went to HSM# during the Tech game Saturday!!! She said it was great.

I totally would have gone with you, too! I'm afraid to even ask anyone here if they'll go with me... we all know secretly that everyone loves HSM! ;)

I can't believe all of the Christmas stuff everywhere. I say that every year, you would think I could get used to it! Let me catch up with 1 & 2 and I will go with you! :)

While I would love a longer Christmas season, I can't just skip over Thanksgiving. I've never seen it pushed this early. They already have garland and red bows on the shopping center by our house. Was this secretly in the bail out plan or what??? It's all a marketing ploy. I'm resisting. I WILL give Thanksgiving it's fair share of the holiday season!

My neighbor put up lights and reindeer the day after Halloween. It's all I can do to go knock on the front door and demand an explanation.

by the way, my word verification was "nonsensmus." That about wraps up how I feel today in many respects.
